Make Gratitude A Habit
As Henry Ward Beecher Said “Gratitude is the fairest blossom which springs from the soul.”
Gratitude is an emotion expressing thanks for our lives, even in
times of challenge and change. Many of us express gratitude by saying “thank
you” to someone who has helped us or given us a gift. It is just not an action
but an emotion. First of all, we have to show gratitude to our parents who give
us birth. Create small moments of delight for them or do things that make them
proud of you, or to stay some time with them.
Expressing gratitude internalizes good vibes. It helps reduce the
symptoms of depression. Practicing gratitude can make you feel more alive. It
is integral to our well-being. Gratitude can change your life.
If you feel that you have neglected to thank someone in your life,
maybe write them a letter explaining your gratitude. Deliver it in
person, if possible. Who knows what impact this will have on both of your
lives.
Before you go to sleep, think of the positive things that happened
during the day. If you have children ask them about the positive things they
had done. Then share what you are grateful for, as this shows the importance
of practice.
When people express gratitude to each other will create a positive
chain reaction to encourage in any family, workplace, or in society. The
benefits of practicing gratitude linked to a desire to build people and societies
that are healthy and safe.
