Beat the summer and Stay Healthy
We are all living in different countries where summer heatwaves can stress our bodies. With these hot summers, we have to stay cool and hydrated.
Here are some tips to stay healthy in summer
Eat healthy and light, small, frequent meals. Avoid outside food.
Treat your eyes well. When you go outside, protect your vision
from the harsh sunlight by wearing sun glasses
Avoid Alcohol and Caffeine. Drink plenty of water.
If you need to go outside in the sun, it is important to protect
your skin with skin lotion to avoid sunburn, which reduce the risk of skin
cancer.
Exercise in the morning or evening to avoid sunburn when less hot. If
possible, exercise in shady areas. If it’s too hot to go out, work out at the
gym, or walk or climb stairs inside an air-conditioned building.
Wear lightweight, light-colored, loose-fitting clothing to help
sweat evaporate and keep you cooler. If possible, use a light colored hat also.
Summer may be of some relief from cold and chilly days, but it may
also bring along various health problems like dehydration, stomach upset,
bacterial infections, sun burn, etc. The extreme rise in temperature in summer
affects not only nutrition, but also many habits such as sleep and physical
activity.
